Tin Can insects

Another great workshop at the Galleria in Burton Latimer with Catherine Matthews. This was was in February 2017. Using tin cans, bead and wire we whiled away an afternoon cutting up aluminium cans, "sewing" it onto a wire frame with very fine flexible wire and learning how to incorporate beads. Mum even had a go at pleating her Aluminium to great affect. Her masterpiece was the sea horse which i love. My Dragonfly has a rather square head but i think if i spend maybe several more months trying to do it i might get the hang of it. LOL. Maybe not my best work, definitely well out of my comfort zone, but great fun and really glad i had a go.
